Who we Are
ISUGC was established at the initiative of Igor Filipovski MD, Consultant Anaesthesiologist who is a highly recognised professional within the field of cryoneurolysis. Dr. Filipovski has many years of experience performing this treatment in his clinic, Cryo Center Copenhagen, which he established along with René Kestenholz. Moreover, Dr. Filipovski is one of the leading professionals in the world, which has led to a significant number of doctors seeking out his guidance in the hopes of expanding their knowledge within the field of cryoneurolysis.

To establish an international platform for the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and clinical experience, and to develop global treatment guidelines for ultrasound-guided cryoneurolysis.

Our vision is to establish internationally recognized guidelines for ultrasound-guided cryoneurolysis, promoting greater awareness and expanding access to this effective treatment for chronic pain on a global scale.

What do we do
The aim of the ISUGC is to create an international platform for the sharing and development of knowledge and competencies within the field of Ultrasound Guided Cryoneurolysis. We strive to create a foundation which will provide our members with a platform for exchanging and discussing treatment results and professional know-how as well as writing and sharing academic articles.
It is essential for ISUGC to raise general awareness of and interest in Ultrasound Guided Cryoneurolysis as a treatment for the relief of chronic pain. This comes at a time when Ultrasound Guided Cryoneurolysis is gaining popularity around the world, and professionals are beginning to see the benefits and potential of this treatment as an alternative to traditional forms of pain treatment, such as various surgical procedures.
As a part of our journey to raise awareness, ISUGC aims to discuss and establish international treatment guidelines for the use of Ultrasound Guided Cryoneurolysis.
In addition, ISUGC will facilitate the organising of international conferences, which will provide an opportunity for specialists and other persons with a professional interest in cryoneurolysis to come together and exchange experiences, opinions, and professional knowledge in person.
In the long term, ISUGC strives to support and endorse our members’ interests. ISUGC welcomes any persons with a professional interest in cryoneurolysis that wish to be a part of the International Society for Ultrasound Guided Cryoneurolysis (ISUGC) and contribute to realising the aims of our organisation.
